Greetings to you from the Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention! I want to personally make you aware of my admiration for you and the excellent staff of Experient.
As you know, the Executive Committee was very reluctant to use an outside group for our hotel contracts and housing needs. We always felt we would be losing control of the contract negotiations and not have as strong relationships with the hotels. Well, you and your organization have done the exact opposite for us – we still have full control of our contracts and our relationships are actually strengthened due to your involvement.
There are several things that have been implemented by Experient that have been tremendous helps to us – you worked closely with us to create a convention hotel template as well as an overflow contract template and with your strong relationships with the hotel chains, you have been able to use these templates exclusively. As part of these templates, you also have incorporated additional concessions that have been very useful for our group.
The housing office has worked diligently to keep us well informed about situations and also stayed in close contact with the hotels to manage the room blocks. The staff in the housing office is very helpful to us and to those who are making reservations.
The cost analysis you provide after completing the hotel contract process is very helpful in quantifying the benefits received with Experient’s involvement. All of these things with no money out of pocket and actually saving money because our time is not spent calling all the hotels to negotiate the contracts!
You have truly become an extension of our office and we do not want to handle contracts and housing without you!

I joined Experient in April 2007. My primary customer focus is Tennessee and also supporting new client developments nationwide. I began my career in Birmingham with Hilton Hotels. After moving to Nashville, I worked with my husband in our entertainment travel coach business, Hemphill Brothers Coach Company, which we still own and operate. As a National Account Manager with Experient, my client base includes the Southern Baptist Convention, Hospital Corporation of American (HCA) and America’s National Teenager.
