I am a native of Louisiana, with skills that took my career path around the country as I continued to hone my craft. Starting in New York where I interned for a variety of high-profile brands like BET and the fashion brand Valentino, then to work in Washington D.C. as the Director of Meetings and Events for a trade association with a sharp knowledge of the event planning world.
Sharing the best practices discovered by managing over 8,400 events annually and $1.2 billion of total spend, helps make each of Experient’s representatives better resources for our customers. This allows us to help our customers discover emerging trends, benchmark destinations and venues, and validate precedents that can have notable impact on their events. Previously a meeting executive in the non-profit sector and managing budget forecasting, development, and execution of conferences both domestic and international. I knew as a new comer in the industry, to be dedicated to providing a fresh new perspective appealing to both the young and old market was important. Staying on trend with the every changing events industry has been my passion; I like to focus and take advantage of my millennial senses to meet demands of the market curve. I recently returned home bringing my expertise and experience to the New Orleans tourism industry, aiming to complete a Masters in Tourism Administration and Events Management.
